UI with multiple maps

Dears,

I wonder if I could deploy more than one map in OpenRemote UI. For example, one map per realm (preferible), or per user, or any other way.

In my particular deployment, I´d like to use one map for my city (smart city), another “map” (picture) of my condominium with some assets with fixed coordinates, etc.

Hi,

We don’t support multiple map servers; the way we tackle this is to ensure the mapdata.mbtiles file you use covers all the areas for your different realms.

Then in your mapsettings.json you can put settings for each realm in terms of:

  • centre point
  • bounds
  • min/max zoom
