Edge to Master Sync

Hello together,

first of all want to greet everyone, happy to be part of this.

We have now successfully set up a server master and connected our OpenRemote instance to the Edge device.

So far it all works very well. What we have now noticed is that only the data is syncronized during the active connection to the OpenRemote Master. However, the data generated on the Edge device during a failed connection to the OpenRemote Master is not synchronized.

That wouldn’t really make sense then.
We need all the data that has been generated on the end device since the last connection.

Is this a setup issue?

Hi Morbius,

I hope that you are well. I see there is not a lot of activity relating to edge gateways.

I am trying to setup the same thing, central manager on my Linux PC and an edge gateway on an RPI. Have you managed to set it up on a local network by any chance?

I can help you investigate this issue if I can set it up locally but I have had no luck. Just keep getting a CONNECTING status. From a previous ticket it was mentioned that you need a verified CA and not self signed?
