Good afternoon everyone,
Happy to let everyone know that the fleet management integration of OpenRemote has finally been updated to the latest version of OpenRemote, version 1.8.0!
The biggest change for this release is the migration to our release management system, which required some changes on the fleet telematics project. Namely, since the native OpenRemote manager docker image is being used, the frontend used is the native OpenRemote one. This means that for now, the map features (vehicle route on the map for the past 24 hours) and the asset state duration widget is no longer included in the repository, with work being done to improve those and eventually release them on the main repository.
But almost a year has passed since the last update, and there are some big features that are finally getting to the fleet management product! Custom map tileserver features, new widgets, a revamped, more powerful charting library, more flow rules, better and more integrations with our agents, some bug fixes both in the main OpenRemote repo and the fleet telematics code, and almost a yearβs worth of new features for you to explore, that make the fleet telematics product faster, easier to use, and more powerful!
Make sure to update your docker-compose.yml file by redownloading the file, and remember to pull the new images using docker pull!
Please let me know if there are any issues with the migration from the old version to the new one below.
Thanks!
