is there a way to hide attributes of some asset in the asset tab? Thanks

Yes, you can do that using the manager_config (exclude certain attributes from the attributes panel). Note that this will only work for users other than the ā€˜adminā€™.

I am new to openremote and donā€™t know much about docker. Where can I find an example of how to hide an attribute from the users view?

You can follow @Don instructions above, or you can also use restricted users. Restricted users can only see Assets you link them to, and attributes with configuration item ā€œAcess Restricted Readā€. Without that they canā€™t see the attribute
