IOS App - Clear Image Cache without accessing Settings page

I’m looking at using Open Remote for some public use rooms with locked down iPads and don’t want random people getting into the settings page, but would still like to be able to update the remote if I make a change.

Is there a way to have the clear image cache function run every time the app opens or add a button to your remote that just runs the clear image cache function? Or have the clear image cache function run every x number of minutes?

Failing both of those is there a way to have a button to access the settings screen, but have it password protected?

I really don’t want to not put a button for the settings page and have to delete and reinstall the app every time I make a change.

Thanks for any ideas or solutions you might have,

Drew
