Anyone knows if it is possible to execute a macro from a rule? i.e. is there something like execute.macro(“macro_name”); ?

Fortunately, rules are flexible enough to launch as many commands asyou want as once, add delays, or conditions.
It's truly limit less.
It is not possible. However, you don't need macros when you have rules. Rules can do more than macros and beyond.
