I am looking to integrate our cloud based OpenRemote with a Mitsubishi chiller that exposes BACnet objects (run/fault status, compressor operation, sensor data, etc.) over CAT5 (BACnet/IP).
I’m considering using a Raspberry Pi running Node-RED with BACnet libaries to collect the data, then uplinking via MQTT to OpenRemote.
Any suggestions on the best approach, including potential alternatives, best practices, or any pitfalls to watch out for would be much appreciated.
