Has anyone implemented a pass code type application on the UI- for example when OR UI is launched, the first screen that it opens to would be a numeric / alpha numeric keypad and only after the user inputs the preset right code, the user can navigate to the next set of screens
Just Google for "keypad openremote" and you should stumble into few examples I've made 2 years ago.

There are still there, but dropbox changed their API in the meantime. I’ve updated the youtube video’s comment with currently correct links.
